Beautiful Jammu Kashmir Itinerary

Chandigarh To Kashmir

Destination – Chandigarh – Srinagar – Gulmarg – Sonamarg Pahalgam – Chandigarh

Duration – 6 Night / 7 Days

Day 01 – Chandigarh – Srinagar
On arrival from Chandigarh to Srinagar. The distance from Chandigarh to Srinagar is about 565 km and takes around 13 hours to reach. After the long journey you have to take rest in the hotel. In the evening we enjoy the Shikara ride on the Dal lake to enjoy the sunset. Explore local market. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 – Srinagar
After having breakfast in the hotel, we move to famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishant Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Also Tulip Garden and Shankaracharya Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03 – Srinagar – Sonamarg
After breakfast, we proceed to Sonamarg from Srinagar. It is about 84 kms and takes around 3 hours to reach. It is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg. Sonamarg is also known as Gateway of Ladakh. Sonamarg is famous for its natural beauty, alpine flowers, sycamore silver birch and pine tree. After lots of fun we come back to hotel. Overnight stay at Sonamarg hotel.

Day 04 – Sonamarg – Gulmarg
After breakfast, we move to Gulmarg from Srinagar. Its about 139 kms and takes around 5 hours to reach. Gulmarg is famous for the golf course with 18 holes and has one of the best ski slopes in the world. Also you can enjoy the Gandola ride. After lots of fun we come back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Srinagar hotel.

Day 05 – Gulmarg – Pahalgam
After breakfast, we start travel to Pahalgam from Gulmarg. It is about 149 kms and takes around 5 hours to reach. On the way we visit Saffron feilds and Avantipur ruins ( Eleven years old temple ), Pahalgam is famous for nature charm. Overnight stay at Pahalgam hotel.

Day 06 – Pahalgam
Having breakfast at the hotel. Rest of tghe we enjoy the beautiful valley of Pahalgam like – Chandan Vadi, Aru Valley. Betab Valley. Overnight stay at Pahalgam hotel.

Day 07 – Pahalgam – Chandigarh
After breakfast, we start our return journey from Pahalgam to Chandigarh ( 555 kms & takes 12 hours ) with lots of wonderful memories.
